Working principle

By adjusting the screw of the pressure switch, the spring tension can be adjusted. The deeper the screw is screwed in, the greater the spring force that the measuring element must overcome, and the switch point value correspondingly increases. The geometric structure of the spring is designed according to the required switching range. According to the functional principle of mechanical pressure switches, the switching point is defined by the spring pre-tension, which sets the switching point when the pressure increases. When the external pressure acts on the pressure sensing element as the pressure decreases, the spring or diaphragm deforms accordingly. When the pressure reaches a certain level, the deformation of the spring or diaphragm causes a displacement in the mechanical structure, thereby closing or opening the contacts and changing the conductivity state of the circuit.

Widely used for reverse osmosis systems.
